She Reads She Leads Book Club is the community Jen Kornoely built for entrepreneurial women who want to grow their businesses and themselves, one book at a time. When she outgrew her third-party platform, we gave the club a home of its own on her Wix site: a members-only hub with tiered memberships, automatic payments, and reminders that send themselves.
The Challenge
Jen was running She Reads She Leads on a third-party book club platform that wasn't keeping up with her business. Support was slow to respond, she couldn't see who was paying, and she had very little control over her own membership.
She wanted to move everything onto the Wix site she already had, with a members-only area, membership tiers, and payments that handle themselves. Anyone who cancelled needed to lose access automatically, and members needed reminders before each meeting without Jen sending them by hand. Above all, she wanted to be self-sufficient. She didn't want to wait on someone else every time a small change was needed.
The Solution
I built the members-only hub into her existing Wix site and connected Stripe so members can choose their tier, pay automatically, and lose access if they cancel. I designed the hub's homepage along with a simple template for each month's book, so Jen can duplicate it, drop in the cover and details, and publish in minutes.
For the emails, I set up a welcome message plus automated reminders ahead of each meeting, and connected her tools so new members flow into the right places without extra work. Because Jen wanted to own her setup, I included training so she can manage memberships and make updates herself. The whole thing is also optimized for mobile.
The Result
Jen now has a membership experience that lives on her own site and runs on her terms. Members sign up, pay, and get access automatically. She can see exactly who's paying, and she no longer has to track anyone down to make a change, freeing her time up to focus on what she does best.
