Beach Bum Spray Tans is a luxury spray tanning studio specializing in custom spray tans for weddings, events, and vacations, as well as offering premium at-home tanning products.
The Challenge
Beach Bum Spray Tans already had a booking system that worked, but nowhere to sell its products online. The owner wanted to start selling her tanning mousse and setting powder and wasn't sure of the best route: a full website that handled both products and appointments, or e-commerce added to her existing booking app. She also wanted to be found on Google, since a local service business depends on people searching for it.
The Solution
I built a Shopify website at beachbumspraytans.com to give her a dedicated online store for the products, with SEO built in to help the business show up in search. Shopify is made for selling, so adding products, managing orders, and growing the catalog stays simple, and clients can still book appointments through the GlossGenius system they already use.
The Result
Beach Bum Spray Tans now has a live online store where customers can shop the tanning mousse and setting powder, plus a web presence set up to be discovered through Google. The business can sell products around the clock, not just at appointments.
